Fire Safety Training

Safety is
our priority. Having adequate fire measures within your property is only
part of the solution in minimising damage and ensuring the safety of your
building's occupants. The purpose of fire training is to ensure that safety
procedures are established and the occupants of a building know how to
respond when faced with a major emergency. Property managers also have
a legal obligation to ensure emergency and evacuation procedures are practiced
on site in line with legal and OH&S requirements.
"First
Attack" Fire Training
This comprises
of theory and practical components in the use of fire extinguishers and
blankets. After this training, attendees will be qualified to safely execute
first response procedures. This means using the appropriate fire equipment
correctly in fire related emergencies. If the wrong extinguisher is used
on certain fires, it may exacerbate the situation. It's important people
know what to do.
Fire Warden
Training
Appointed
fire wardens will be trained in emergency procedures within a designated
area. This training session will qualify them to respond in the event
of a fire or bomb threat and subsequently coordinate the general response
and evacuation.
Emergency
Evacuation Training
This training
educates attendees in correct evacuation response procedures to be used
in the event of an emergency. BettaFire can also create custom evacuation
manuals for organisations consisting of more than 20 staff.
